Standard HPC Grant 2012

With the aim of promoting the use of high-performance computing in scientific research, CASPUR invites researchers from universities, and public or private research institutions to submit scientific projects for free allocation of computing resources on the HPC cluster matrix.

Proposals must be submitted through this web site, from January 16th until February 14th 2012.
Resource requests for each project cannot exceed a maximum of 100000 CPU hours.
Resources must be exploited from March 15th until January 31st 2013.

Proposals will be evaluated by the Technical and Scientific Council of CASPUR, and approved by the Executive Officers Board of the Consortium.
Principal investigators will be informed about the results of the decision process by March 14th 2012.
At the end of the project activities, principal investigators will be asked to submit a brief report on achieved results. The provision of the report is a precondition for participation to future calls by the same principal investigator and research group.
Scientific publications and presentations of results obtained with the contribution of resources provided by CASPUR will acknowledge support received by the Consortium.
